Students may also need help organizing assignments and preparing for class tests. Describe the routine you want to improve, including how much independent work the student can currently manage.
BEFORE THE FIRST SESSION
Choose a quiet spot, check that the microphone and camera work and have the relevant assignment or practice questions available. Ask the team which device, browser and connection are needed for its platform before purchasing equipment.
For younger students, discuss whether a parent should help with setup or remain nearby. Establish how to get help if the connection drops and where to send appropriate learning materials. Do not upload sensitive documents through the general inquiry form.
Consider the student’s comfort speaking on video, ability to stay engaged at a screen, travel needs and access to a suitable learning space. The most convenient format is useful only if the student can participate effectively. Discuss concerns with the team before committing.
