MyHLC Tutoring provides K–12 subject tutoring, test preparation and study skills support from our Shoreline center and through live online tutoring. We work with families looking for help with classroom learning, exam preparation and more confident study habits.
A student may need to revisit a foundational skill, work through a difficult subject or prepare for an upcoming test. The starting point is a conversation about that student’s needs and goals.
Understand the goal. Tell us about the student’s grade, the subjects or exams involved, and what you would like help with.
Discuss the options. Explore the focus of tutoring, available formats and a schedule that could work for your family.
Build skills through practice. Tutoring connects explanations with practice so students can work toward greater understanding and independence.
Our subject tutoring covers math, reading, writing and science. Study skills support focuses on the habits that help students approach assignments and learning more confidently.

Families can discuss in-person tutoring at our Shoreline center, live online support or a combination of the two. Our center also serves families from Seattle, Edmonds, Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace, Lake Forest Park and Kenmore.
